Functional Classifications are predefined job categories or roles into which each candidate can be classified. You can classify each candidate under 3 levels: function group, sub-group and role.
Functional Classification captures candidate specific job/role category at 3 levels:
- Functional Group – Overall domain/vertical
- Functional Sub-group – Sub-category of overall vertical
- Functional Role – Specific job/role performed within the sub-group.
Talenture RS comes with a set of pre-defined hierarchy of Functional Classifications for the most common domains and roles which you can customize.
Although not mandatory, functionally classifying your resumes in Talenture RS gives you important benefits:
- Use Job Functions search feature of Resume Finder to search candidates based on specific roles instead of keywords.
- No need to remember & enter keywords for complex resume searches – just select the role for which candidates required.
- More accurate and speedier searches reduce shortlisting time.
Classifying Candidates
- A single resume can be classified into a maximum of 3 different functional roles.
- Allows classification of candidates having experience in multiple roles.
- You can also add resumes to existing functional classifications directly from search results displayed in Resume Finder. Use this method to quickly segregate all resumes into relevant functional classifications.
Classification can also be done when importing candidates from desktop, Job Portals or via the bulk import tools.
