You can import client company data that you have in MS Excel or Comma Separated Value (CSV) file formats directly into Talenture RS as Clients.
Use this feature for quickly bringing in your client companies so that the team does not need to enter these manually in Talenture RS to get started.
You may for example have client company related data in XLS/CSV formats in the following scenarios:
- Client details maintained in MS Excel format.
- Client data exported to XLS/CSV format from another software product.
Steps for Importing Data
Following are the broad steps in importing client data from XLS/CSV files:
- Select the Client object type into which to import the data.
- Select the source XLS/CSV file from which to import data.
- Specifying the columns in your XLS/CSV file to be mapped to corresponding columns in Talenture RS. You can also import data into User-Defined fields created in Talenture RS.
Special Values in Import
You can specify the following additional mapping when importing candidates/candidate leads:
- Type: You select the Client type to set as ‘Lead’ or ‘Current’.
- Status: You set this as ‘Active’ or ‘Disabled’.
