Advanced Sourcing

The PSAN Chrome Add-in provides advanced options for enabling greater control on the candidate download process.

Check Selected Profiles in Talenture RS: You can use this option for checking if the candidates you’ve selected for downloading from a Job Portal are already existing in your Talenture RS database before the actual download starts. This enables you to avoid any download charges on the selected resumes.

Add Selected Profiles to List with no Duplicate Check: Speed up downloads using this option – this will download candidates without first doing a duplicate check in the database. Note that download charges may get incurred for repeat downloads of the same candidates.

Re-classify candidates: Candidates that you download from Job Boards are auto-classified as per their existing classification in the Job Board. However you can use the functional classification options in the Recruitment tab of the download list window for re-classifying candidates.

Downloading from Custom Sites
You can download candidate details from any website/Job Portal that displays resume content such as free candidate database sites.

To enable download from such sites you can use the option ‘Add Current Site as Resume Source’. Once added, you can open the detail page of a candidate in the site and then use the ‘Download Profile’ option for download the profile into Talenture RS.

Downloading from Linked In, Facebook Profiles
You can download candidate information from Linked In and Facebook profile pages directly into Talenture RS.

• Open the detail page of a candidate in Linked In or Facebook.
• Click the ‘Download Profile’ option from the Portal Connect icon. This will parse the details and add it to the download list. You can then follow the standard process for save the profile from the list to Talenture RS.

Downloading profiles from social networks enables generating leads especially for headhunting senior candidates.

1. Download resumes without dup-check

To download resumes from Job Portals into Talenture RS without checking of duplicates in the database:
- Point to the Tools menu at the top and select 'Import Candidates from External Sites'.
- In the "External Site Launchpad" page click on the job portal that you use from the 'Job Boards' section and in the portal page login using your recruiter id for the portal.
- Apply a candidate search on the portal as you normally do.

For each page of the results do the following:
- In top right corner of browser window click on the PSAN Chrome Extension icon and from the menu, click on 'Options'. Now, select "Download Full Profile from External Site even if its Duplicate exists in the Database" and click Save on the Options dialog.
- This will start resume download - once complete a dialog will come up confirming that the resumes were downloaded.

Repeat above steps for each page of the result to download the required resumes.

Once you've finished downloading the resumes then follow these steps to save the downloaded resumes into Talenture RS:
- Click on the PSAN Portal Connect icon and from the menu select "Save Profiles to Database" - this will display a window showing list of all resumes that you've downloaded.
- Tick the checkbox next to each resume that you want to save in Talenture RS or tick the "Select All' check box and then click the "Save". button.
- Once the resumes are saved in the database, a confirmation dialog will appear - click OK and then click Close.

2. Download resume content from any website

You can use the Universal Portal Connector feature to download resume content from any website/Job Portal. Follow these steps:
1. Launch Google Chrome browser and open the website containing resume content such as Job Boards and Candidate alumni network etc.
2. Navigate to the detail page of the resume that you want to download and then from the Talenture RS Toolbar click on the Settings button and select "Add Current Site as Resume Source".
3. In the dialog that comes up type a name & description for the source in the Name& Description fields and tick the regions & countries under which to categorize the resume source and click Add.
4. Now you can download the resume content from the page by following the usual process of downloading resumes from Portals using the "Download Profile" & "Save Profiles to Database" options from the PSAN chrome extension addin.

3. Download resume content from LinkedIn

Follow these steps for downloading candidate profiles from LinkedIn:

- Login to LinkedIn website and perform a candidate search as per your requirements.
- In the search result click on the name of a candidate to open the profile page.
- In the profile detail page click on the PSAN Chrome Extension icon and select 'Download Profile'. The profile page will get added to the Portal list.
- Repeat above steps for each candidate profile from the search results.
- Once required no. of profiles are downloaded, click on the PSAN Chrome Extension icon and select 'Save Profiles to Database'. This will display Portal Connect download list.
- Select the profiles from the list and click on the 'Save' button.

4. Add Websites as Custom Resume Sources

1. Launch Google Chrome browser and open the website containing resume content such as Google search result, recruitment blog etc.
2. Navigate to the detail page of the resume that you want to download and then from the Talenture RS Toolbar click on the Settings button and select "Add Current Site as Resume Source".
3. In the dialog that comes up type a name & description for the source in the Name& Description fields and tick the regions & countries under which to categorize the resume source and click Add.
