You can import Job Requirement data that you have in MS Excel or Comma Separated Value (CSV) file formats directly into Talenture RS as Jobs.
Use this feature for quickly bringing in your currently active of important job requirements so that the team does not need to enter these manually in Talenture RS to get started.
You may for example have job related data in XLS/CSV formats in the following scenarios:
- Job Descriptions (JDs) sent by clients in MS Excel format.
- Job briefs entered in Excel files by team members.
- Job data exported to XLS/CSV format from another software product or from jobs posted on your company website/external Job Boards.
Steps for Importing Data
Following are the broad steps in importing data from XLS/CSV files:
- Select the Job object type into which to import the data.
- Select the source XLS/CSV file from which to import data.
- Specifying the columns in your XLS/CSV file to be mapped to corresponding columns in Talenture RS. You can also import data into User-Defined fields created in Talenture RS.
Once the import process is completed a notification will be displayed in the Notification Band and also posted in the Notifications data folder containing the summary of the import process. You can check the System Log in case of any errors/failures during the process.
