ID generators automatically generate a running serial number for various items such as jobs, invoices etc. Talenture RS allows you to create custom ID Generators as per your organization’s formats.
The following elements of an ID Generator can be defined:
- Prefix, suffix
- Running serial number - no. of digits, starting value.
You can for example use a custom ID Generator for assigning custom job codes for identifying different types of Jobs. A code generator with a prefix of ‘TMP’ can indicate Temporary openings, while another code generator with a ‘PERM’ prefix can indicate Permanent openings.
You can then filter jobs based on these job code prefixes to get reports for each type of job worked on.
ID Generators can be created from the System Configuration module in the administrative login. You can also view all existing ID Generators and modify these from here.
