The Notes module provides the concept of short memos commonly used in many organizations. A note is a descriptive snippet of information which a user may store and want to refer to periodically. So you can add notes for yourself related to your work items, questions, ideas, reminders etc.
You can organize different kinds of notes in Notes folders and move these across any of the folders. By default, the notes that you add are saved in the Main system folder. You can create your own folders to organize your notes for quick and efficient access.
Log Folders
The Notes module also provides the system Log folders for storing system log entries generated by different components of Talenture RS. You can use these for monitoring processes such as resume transfer from email, Chrome Browser Extension, desktop etc. and diagnosing any issues/failures that may occur.
The following sub-folders are available under the Log folder:
- Browser Extension: This folder contains logs related to downloading of resumes from Job Boards, social sites etc. using the Talenture RS Chrome Extension.
- Main Application: This folder contains log entries related to common operations within Talenture RS such as Import from XLS feature etc.
- Outlook Addin: This folder contains logs related to resume transfer done on email messages via the PSAN Outlook Addin.
- Quick Import: This folder contains logs related to import of resumes from disk files via the 'Import Resumes from Desktop' option.
